Near the anniversary of its founding (April 12), ISAS sponsors annual scientific lectures and films in Tokyo.

Another annual event, the Space School is a great favorite with school children. A whole day is devoted to Questions and Answers with children who are constantly enthusiastic and inquisitive about space science and technology

On a set day during the summer vacation, ISAS opens its main campus to the general public and puts the typical results of ISAS activities on display. Over 10,000 visitors enjoy exhibitions, lectures and discussions with ISAS staff.
